The elastic tool lanyard is designed to secure your tools during work at height by attaching them to a fixed point on the user. With an extendable length of up to 1.30 m, this elastic lanyard provides freedom of movement while preventing accidental drops of tools weighing up to 5 kg.
Constructed from durable polyester, with a width of 14 mm, it offers the perfect combination of lightweight and strength. Weighing only 0.044 kg, it is convenient and easy to use without burdening the user.
The lanyard is equipped with an aluminum carabiner with a 15 mm opening, allowing for quick and secure attachment. It also includes a 340 mm cord with an integrated lock, ensuring flexible and secure attachment for various tools.
Although this lanyard is not classified as personal protective equipment (PPE), it complies with the Directive 2001/45/EC §4.4.d, which recommends that tools used by suspended workers should be secured to prevent drops. It’s important to note that using this lanyard does not exempt you from the requirement to wear a protective helmet in compliance with EN397/EN12492 standards for complete safety.
