The CURIOSITY-S is a 1.50 m braided lanyard designed to provide optimal safety for professionals working at heights. It is equipped with an energy absorber made of polyester and polyamide, 45 mm wide, reducing impact force to less than 6 kN in the event of a fall. The energy absorber is protected by a zippered pouch for enhanced durability.
For improved abrasion resistance, the lanyard features thimbled loops, and the stitching is protected by a transparent sleeve, ensuring extra protection in harsh environments.
In terms of connectors, the lanyard is equipped with two high-quality aluminum carabiners: a scaffolding carabiner with a 60 mm opening (ref. FA 50 218 60) and an auto-locking quarter-turn carabiner with a 21 mm opening (ref. FA 50 201 22). These connectors ensure fast, secure, and compliant attachment.
The CURIOSITY-S is certified to meet EN355:2002 and PPE-R/11.074 standards and is suitable for users weighing up to 140 kg.
