The hydraulic spreader can generate a force of up to 15 metric tons, is lightweight, and is easy to use due to its ergonomic design. This hydraulic spreader operates based on a wedge integrated into the device. It is ideal for separating flanges, creating the necessary space to change gaskets and/or for cleaning or repairing the intermediate spaces between flanges. The spreader is single-action and should be used with a pressure-holding hydraulic pump. The max operating pressure is 10,000 psi (700 bar). It is recommended to use the devices in pairs, providing a total force of 30 (2 x 15) metric tons.
