Weighing just 12.2 kg, the AKBU 35 PMQW is the world’s lightest cordless core drilling machine, designed to maximize productivity while offering complete flexibility for various types of drilling, such as core drilling, tapping, countersinking, and reaming. It features right/left rotation, electronic speed adjustment, and a total stroke length of 260 mm, providing great precision and adaptability to a wide range of materials.
The set includes two ProCORE 18 V 8 Ah batteries, which, thanks to COOLPACK 2.0 technology, extend the battery life by 135%, allowing for longer run times. With these batteries, it is possible to perform up to 31 drillings per charge (with a carbide bit, Ø 18 mm, S235 12 mm). The intelligent battery management offers 87% more power compared to conventional batteries, while the Electronic Cell Protection (ECP) function protects against overcharging, overheating, and deep discharge.
The prismatic permanent magnet ensures maximum stability during drilling operations, with a pre-holding function that simplifies the machine’s alignment. An integrated tilt sensor automatically shuts off the motor in case of slipping or tipping, ensuring user safety. The intuitive control panel and the magnetic holding force display allow for simple and secure operation.
Compatible with Bosch Professional 18 V batteries since 2008 and the AMPShare system, this unit is designed for extended and mobile use, ensuring maximum productivity in the field.
